By the end of junior high, we believe children are ready to understand their role as adults in the church community, and can make the independent decision to 'confirm' their baptism as a child of God. We offer a Confirmation program to our eighth graders during the Sunday School hour for discussion and education in what it means to be a Christian and why we desire to commit our lives to our Lord.
Confirmands are matched with an adult mentor to assist them in the Confirmation process, which includes a small group Gospel study and volunteer requirements for the church and community.
