Individual should have strong work ethic with an attention to detail. Individual must be self-motivated and independent as the position requires one to often work alone. Knowledge of floor maintenance (waxing, etc…) is strongly encouraged. Good communication skills are a plus.
Head of Staff, as well as House/Grounds Team, and Personnel Team
The custodian will report to other members of staff when special set up is required or projects arise. This will include the Pastor, the Christian Education Groups Leader and the leaders of Sunday School courses or small groups as needed.
To provide cleaning services and minor maintenance for OPC.
1. Cleaning of all general purpose areas including; classrooms, offices, kitchen, Sanctuary, Upper Room, Fellowship Hall, the Choir Room and the Fungeon.
2. Cleaning is to include but not limited to, dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, waxingand vacuuming floors and general room set up. Washrooms need to be cleaned at each visit.
3. Any noticeable maintenance issues should be brought to the attention of House and Grounds and communication of needed supplies should go to the office manager.
Terms of Employment:
Approximately 20-25 hours per week. This is a part time position requiring a commitment to hours and responsibilities listed above.
